5 tips for making your own candles

1. Know what candles you are going to want to make. For example, what purpose do you want your candle line to serve. Do this with each line of candles you put out.

2. Start off with a kit from a brand named company. There are some good ones on amazon but there are also a few that will not do well with testing. I would suggest going with Candle Science or Flaming Candle Co just to name a few.

3. Test different waxes to find the one that works for you and your values you have in place for your brand.

4. Buy a double boiler or a melting pot. Some people use the microwave but, I wouldn't suggest that because you may run the risk of having temperatures to high or it may not be the same throughout.
